Lindsey Hylen - LIMHP
Approach to therapy
My approach to therapy is holistic, integrative, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I meet clients where they are in their journey and work collaboratively with them to support their healing and growth.

Client focus and style
I work with adults navigating distressing life experiences, emotional and relational challenges, substance use, and life transitions. My style is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and compassion. I integrate trauma-informed and mind-body approaches to support healing and personal growth. I help clients develop healthy coping strategies, gain insight into their own patterns, and build resilience and adaptability to support lasting change.
How clients reach goals
Working together with my clients, we build a connection in a safe and supportive environment where they can openly share their needs and goals. We reflect on what has worked and what hasn't in previous experiences in therapy, clarify therapy preferences, and co-create a treatment plan that helps clients feel motivated and confident about the steps they can take to reach their goals. Throughout therapy, we regularly review progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed to ensure it continues to support their growth and healing.
Personal journey
I felt called to this work long before I became a therapist. As a teenager, I felt a deep desire to connect with and support those around me who were struggling emotionally. I remember walking with a close friend along a nature trail and helping her navigate the challenges she was facing at the time. That experience revealed my passion and calling: to walk alongside and guide others as they face their most challenging experiences and emotions, offering a safe space to process them in therapy.
